A mix of workshops and presentations about digitalization along the whole value chain “coating” is awaiting Coatings professionals.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁?

We introduced the vision of the #SmartPaintFactoryAlliance in 2022 at the Hochschule Niederrhein in Krefeld during our first Workference as a holistic approach to the value chain “Coatings” in order to make use of digitalization to its full strength.

Sticking to our concept, we will have a 50-50 mix of presentations and workshops, focussing on topics like data quality, data exchange and practical experiences in digitalization projects. Of course, all these topics will be covered with our holistic approach in mind!

The Founders of the Smart Paint Factory Alliance

On March 28, 2022, the Smart Paint Factory Alliance was founded. The founding members are (from left to right) board member Ralph J. Wörheide (ORONTEC), Dr.- Ing. Felipe Wolff Fabris (SKZ), Meiko Hecker (AOM Systems), board member Ulf Stalmach (ORONTEC), Christian Schmitz (HSNR), chairman Dr. Wolfram Keller (Wolfram Keller Professional Services), Sven Thomsen (Hesse), board member Jost Göttert (HSNR).The aim of the alliance is to drive and orchestrate digitalization in the paint industry to enable a sustainable future without losing competitiveness. This will be achieved through a holistic approach that encompasses the entire value chain of the coatings industry, as already demonstrated at the working conference in Krefeld on March 28 and 29, 2022.
